Problems starting Matlab 2014 on windows 7

Matlab 2014 will not start on windows 7. It crashes immediately. I get an "Error Starting Desktop" . First few lines of screen says "javax.swing.border.Emptyborder.<int>(Unknown Source).
Is there a patch or a solution?
