Customized icons on MATLAB shortcut toolbar

Hi there,

I love to take advantage of the MATLAB shortcut and quick access toolbars. However, I find it very limiting that MATLAB forces me to choose from a very limited list of icons consisting, basically, of numbers and letters.

Is there a way to assign a customized icon to my shortcuts?

Hi,

Which version of MATLAB are you using?

In MATLAB 8.6 (R2015b) you can choose the icon image. Select the image by browsing to the location while creating the shortcut.
