How to restore the original value of pixels in an image and remove distortion?

Hello Dear Friends;

I am having an assignment to make image inprinting, using Papoulis-Gerchberg algorithm.. i made segmentation to the undesired text and replace it with zeroes and then made a low pass filter using gaussian... but now i have to complete the task by replacing the blurring pixels in the image by the original known ones and repeat it several times to make image inprint....

Can anyone help me to complete that?!
