I am interested in purchasing Simulink Real-Time. Therefore, I would like to ask what is the toolbox required in MATLAB/ Simulink for me to use Simulink-Real-Time. I am currently using MATLAB version 7.1. Hopefully the name of the toolbox is the same as in version 7.1.
Secondly, I had gone through the list of supported hardware. Link: http://jp.mathworks.com/products/simulink-real-time/supported/hardware-drivers.html I would like to use I/O boards from Contec. They are AD12-16(PCI) or AD12-16(PCI)E and CNT32-8M(PCI). Will all of them will be supported under MATLAB version 7.1?
Your kindly response is highly appreciated.

To start with, there is a system requirements page that lists the product dependencies and other useful information. I will add information about older release in a minute, but when purchasing a new product, you need to have the dependent products under software maintenance anyway, so it is a great opportunity to upgrade to release R2016a.

MATLAB 7.1 is from R14 SP3, that was release in September 2005. To that time, the product was named xPC Target and Simulink Coder was named "Real-Time Workshop". If you really need to work with this release, I am sure you local MathWorks office will be able to help you.
