Hello!
I just started to examine the use of the Units of signals in our project in Matlab 2016b. Unfortunately it seems that only SI Units are allowed, but in our automotive environment we use non-SI units like "stroke" (e.g. mg/stk). Is it possible to define resp. allow these units?
Thanks in advance!
Greetings
Matthias

Simulink is not limited to just SI units and the following link explains the units that are supported in MATLAB and Simulink environment:
In order to check the supported units you can also execute the following command in MATLAB command prompt:
>> showunitslist
After going through that I could not find "strokes" as a unit but there might be a different unit which does the job.

Hello Kushagr!
"strokes" is definetly not an unit that is supported here, so the question is more: is there an opportunity to define an own database for Units resp. can we expand the existing one?
Greetings
Matthias
