How to use FFT to detect symmetrical area of the image in frequency domain

1 view (last 30 days)
Hi,
I understand we can use FFT to perform some template matching in frequency domain. However, is it possible that we can use FFT to detect / find the symmetrical value for each window across an image in frequency domain?
If this is possible, can anyone kindly to show me a simple example of this?
Thank you in advance.

I don't even know what that means. Explain better. What is "the symmetrical value for each window"???

For example, in the figure below, i wish to detect the object with high symmetrical value. therefore, i wish to know the symmetrical value for each sliding window across the image if this is applicable in FFT. Or is this possible in frequency domain? Otherwise, is it can be done in spatial domain?
In short, my main intention is to detect the area of image which having high symmetrical value according to my window size. If this can be done, can you kindly show me one simple example?
Thanks in advance.
