Improve efficiency of backslash operator for sparse matrices

2 views (last 30 days)
Hi all,
I have a problem which needs to perform x = A\b for hundreds of times, where A is a sparse matrix of roughly 1500*1500. The sparsity of A is very good. These operations takes lots of time, is there a way to improve the performance of the backslash operator in x = A\b? or to make these operations efficient? In fact, figure shows what spy(A) looks like.
Many thanks!
