Hello everybody! I'd like to know if there is any reason for which i should interface Simulink with Labview. I'll be more clear: i've got a Simulink model and i'm not sure if is a good idea convert it in a LabView VI.I suppose that Simulink is faster in calculous compared to Labview, and Labview gives to me much more tools for RT analysis and graphical interface; is that true?? Will be great if you have some papers to support your thesis!! Thanks very much to all!! Bye

Labview and Simulink/Matlab both appear to be seeking to be the one platform that can do it all: data analysis, hardware in the loop, etc. So you likely don't need both. Recently we gave some fairly complicated Matlab signal processing code to our LabView engineer and he was able to translate it quickly and accurately using some LabView utilities. If you bring your Simulink output into Matlab, I believe you would be able to do higher-level data analysis than in LabView. But that is speaking as a Matlab user.
