File Exchange search and sort

I'd like to better understand the search and sort features on File Exchange.

Sort: If I browse all 15,377 files on File Exchange, then sort by "Most Downloads (last 30 days)" they do not show up in order of most downloaded. In order I get 105, 102, 110, 101, 106, 112, 104... Oliver Woodford's export_fig function, which has been downloaded over 1800 times in the last 30 days, does not even show up!

Search: Another phenomenon is that if I search highly relevant keywords such "export_fig", Oliver's quite popular file sometimes shows up halfway down the page. What are the ranking algorithms here?

Yeah, I think it's a bug. I sent off a message to [e-mail] but they never responded.

That's a pretty significant bug if the *Matlab* website can't even sort numbers in descending order!
