Generating analog output signals from analog input signals using NI DAQs (Creating a Feedback loop)

I want to create a feedback loop using NI DAQ analog INs and OUTs. Is it possible to simultaneously capture data from the analog INs and feed this back into (i.e. update) the output queue? (assuming some small delay between collection and output, depending on the rates of the cards)

Would this require single scans in a loop? or can this be done through listeners? Or is there a more obvious way?
