use of find delay block to calculate the bit error rate

this is my assignment.. i am a student. i have designed a simulink model with random integer generator, M-Psk modulator baseband , multipath rician fading channel, awgn channel, discrete time scatter plot.. (they are connected in series in the order i have mentioned above..now i need to make changes to this model to measure the bit error rate..i am expected to include the equalisation of GSM channel..

note:you may need to use the find delay block to measure delay between transmitted and received data at the error rate calculation block and put delay in error rate calculation block..

please let me know how to exactly do tat.. i must investigate how BER varies with 4-ary, 8-ary,16-ary and 32-ary..
