Sir,
Please consider that problem.
a) Write a Matlab function that produces a fourth-order accurate Lagrange interpolation f4 (x) for a function f in the point x , given the points x0 , x1 , x2 , x3 , x4 and the values f(x0 ), f(x1 ), f(x2 ), f(x3 ), f(x4 ) .
b) Given f(?1/2 ) = ?1, f(?1/6 ) = ?1/2 , f(0) = 0, f(1/6) =1/2 , f(1/2 ) =1, show that these values indicate that f could be an odd function. Use your Matlab function to find the fourth-order interpolation at x=1/3 and the fourth-order extrapolation at x =1. Would the extrapolation be accurate (explain)? "
And did you consider it?
That wasn't at all nostalgic from your undergrad days?!?!
@Matt
No, I didn't. I at least want "Hello" and "plz." Also, the sender did not say that it was "Urgnt," and the message lacked the obligatory minimum of 5 exclamation points to motivate me.
@Sean de
Nostalgic? Yes. Inspiring? No.
Does highlighted in red allow for few exclamation points?

Why just email? Some of the posts to MATLAB Answers look just like this.
Case in point.
