Matlab code Img=double(Img(:,:,1))?

Does Img=double(Img(:,:,1)) means to transform a continous image into the discrete mode...?

No! It is merely a data-type conversion, as I indicated in your previous Question http://www.mathworks.co.uk/matlabcentral/answers/44235-matlab-code-what-is-the-meaning-of-img-double-img-1
