how to close figures created by matlab standalone application after running it?

Hi There,
I created a standalone application which is called by TestStand. It works fine. The only issue is that figures can't be closed automatically and the TestStand would not run until I manually closed these figures.
Could anyone tall me how to close these figures after running this application?
Best regards, Tracy

you can create a question dlg while closing your application whch ask for a confirmation and based on its return type u can add switch case or just an if with the statement close all.
for instance you can have some few lines like this
choice = questdlg('Are you sure want to exit?', 'ExitApplication','Yes', 'No', 'Yes');
switch choice
case 'No'
%continue your main
case 'Yes'
close all
end
