how to design a pi controller for a voltage source inverter with a capacitor as an energy storage element...i want to know how exactly to find kp and ki values..the pi controller converts dc capacitor voltage to current

I designed a 2 level cascaded 12 pulse VSC using two capacitors with initial voltage of 480v and capacitance 75mF. Using the capacitor voltage as reference(Vdc) and changing voltage (assuming Vdc1) due to faults in the transmission line, I need to device a PI controller which takes Vdc and Vdc1 as reference values and outputs the corresponding current reference(Iref ). this current varies as Vdc1 varies. Now a PI controller is used for this conversion. I want to know how to find out the values of P and I corresponding to the controller
