If you are working with simscape and create your own model by using cloud software such as Onshape, you may find issue of 'Degenerate Mass'. According to the answer of Matlab staff Arvind Narayanan in reference, it caused by the Mate that you connect between parts which are floating. In my case is my wholde model is float.
An error occurred while running the simulation and the simulation was terminated.
Caused by:
['hexsm/Solver Configuration']: Error evaluating equations at time 0.0. Stopping simulation.
There may be a singularity in the solution. If not, try reducing the step size (either by reducing the fixed step size or by tightening the error tolerances) ['hexsm/SixDOF']: 'hexsm/SixDOF' has a degenerate mass distribution on its follower side.
My solution is Fix the center frame or main part

And then world frame should connect right to your fixed part throught 6-Dof block

it works now

I am also getting the same error for my model of Simscape Multibody. Could you please tell me where I can find the option to fix that you have mentioned in the screenshot? I did not use OnShape. I used the model imported from SolidWorks.
Thanks
