How to get transform parameters from Imregister (if possible)?

I am using imregister to align two images. The larger the images were, the longer to registration took. I am currently doing the registration on a cropped area, but I was wondering if I can do the registration on a cropped area for speed, then using the parameters do a transform on the entire image.
