Can't Select New OpenType Font for Editor

I've installed a new OpenType Font, Source Code Pro, which was recently released by Adobe (and looks awesome!). I would like to use that font as the default monospaced font in Matlab. Unfortunately it isn't showing up in the font selection dialog in the Matlab Preferences. I've tried on Matlab R2012a and R2012b.
When I run the command listfonts it shows up:
'Snap ITC'
'Source Code Pro'
'Source Code Pro Black'
'Source Code Pro ExtraLight'
'Source Code Pro Light'
'Source Code Pro Semibold'
'Stencil'
But in the font preferences it doesn't: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/572301/fonts.png
Any ideas on why the font isn't showing up in Matlab?
Notably, the font also comes in a TrueType format which does work in Matlab. While that is a decent workaround, I would really prefer to install it as an OpenType font - go read about it and you'll see Adobe went to great lengths to flesh the font out to full extent of the OpenType standard. Even if Matlab doesn't take advantage of the OpenType features, other programs do and it's not readily possible to install both versions.
