error when installing matlab 2012 a on windows 7 64 bits

this is the message error "The following error was detected while installing cgir_hdl_core_win 64". the compatibilty parameter is set to Windows XP SP3

The Mathworks gives free technical support for all installation issues, even student editions. Call them.
