Displaying a 3D DICOM Image Slice

8 views (last 30 days)
I have reconstructed a 3D DICOM (CT) image by stacking 120 2D DICOM (512x512) images (let's name them horizontal images). Simply, I can display any of the horizontal images using imhsow(3DImage(:,:,n), .....), where 'n' is the number of the slice. When I try to display a vertical image, as 3DImage(k,:,:), it is displayed in a flattened way.
Am I missing the distance between the pixels and slices? The thickness of the slices is 1 mm, whereas the distance between the pixels on 'x' (or 'i') and y (or 'j') direction on a horizontal image are both 0.432 mm.
Could you please tell me how I can fix this?

Thank you Tom. I've looked at the codes of "Interactive 3D DICOM Wiever". It is a good work. It includes some functions I need. But, I need a little more explanation about them. I just need to figure out how to give the thickness on different axial images.
