I can't model a piezoelectric transducer

Hello to all,

I am currently trying to model a piezoelectric sensor which transforms mechanical energy into electrical energy with Simulink but I encounter some difficulties ...

Thank you very much it worked! But now I have another problem ... My modeling is very "sensitive": as soon as I change the velocity of a parameter (capacitor, resistance, pulse frequency ...) I get new errors:

This is actually a stability issue with your model. It appears to be encountering a pole, which makes the output of the system unstable. It requires a domain-specific knowledge to analyze which block might be causing instability.

Do you have the values of and ? Do you just want to calculate the value of and use it as a parameter in a block? In that case, you can define it in MATLAB workspace. Simulink block parameters can read the value from the base workspace.

In MATLAB command window run these lines

Lm = 1; % whatever is the value of Lm
Cm = 1; % whatever is the value of Cm
Rm = sqrt(Lm*Cm)/(2*Cm);

and then opne the resisitor dialog box in simulink and in the resistor window write Rm.

Thank you very much for your patience! I managed to create variables and it seems to work. I have one last little question: I would like to know if it is possible to simulate a mechanical vibration at a specific frequency on the piezo stack? If yes, which block might be suitable?
