finding similarity points?

Hi

I have two point groups with three-dimensional coordinates. The first category includes 1000 points and the second category includes 1100 points. I divide the first category into 100 and the second category into 108 Bins so that the number of points in in each Bin is not same(maximum 50 and minimum 1).

Now I want to consider one of the first categories Bin and find the corresponding Bin in secondary gategories Bin.

can any one help me?

How do you define "corresponding"?

I mean Local corresponding. means two Bins determine a same area nearly.

I use euclidean distance before but I got bad result.
