I have a structure like -
control(1).name='asdf'
control(1).start=12
control(1).end=15
control(2).name... .
.
.
.
control(10).name='lkjh'
control(10).start=10
control(10).end=12
I want to import this structure into simulink for computing and use the string for signal naming. However I am not able to do this using 'From workspace'. Is there any way this can be achieved?

Structure signals in Simulink are called Bus signals. See Import Structures of timeseries Objects for Buses to see how you can import a bus signal from the workspace into Simulink. It looks like you might need to reformat your data using some MATLAB code to be able to import it.

What do you mean by import to Simulink? Instead, tell us what do you want to do with these data. Because if you want to use these data in simulink, you will do it in Matlab command or a m-file, using commands like set_param
