Hi,
I just donwloaded and installed matlab connector on my ipad (4th generation) and my macbook with matlab running version R2012a. After entering in the ipad all the needed information to connection (ip, connector password) and able connector in my computer (typing 'connector on') when I try to connect the follor message appears:
Did not receive a valid message from the connector at host: -my ip- and port:31415
Also in my computer I enter the link to test the connector and an error come out:
HTTP ERROR: 503
SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE
Could you help me to solve this issue?? Thanks
Juan Pablo

I have the same problem:
"Did not recieve a valid message from the connector at host ..."
In Safari I can reach the connector adress and it says its working.

Nobody know the answer? I installed 2012a and the connector ver. 1.2, and got the same response message when I tried to reach the port (default 31415).
It does not work even when I typed http://localhost:31415. Some comments said it's version conflict (connector version v.s. matlab version), but I have no idea what's the correct version (the download link is no longer available on mathworks website)..
HELP!
