Passing matlab output to internet

I am working on a project based on image processing..the camera processes the image of a railway ticket

To obtain the train number and the pnr number..now this info should be passed to the indian railways site

To get complet status of the ticket..is it possible to do this using matlab???

Does urlread() insert the data output like train number and insert it in proper fields on the railway site and proceed??

You construct the appropriate URL or URL and accompanying headers, and urlread() submits them to the site.

That might mean a two-stage process such as urlread() to retrieve the basic page, do an xml parsing of that to find appropriate fields, and to find the OnSubmit URL for the return submission.

urlread() is not going to do any OCR at all; you need a separate section of your program to figure out the train number from the image of the ticket.

What about mget, allows to get a file from FTP server. also mput (to upload)

The Indian Railways site is probably not an FTP server.
