Matlab Plot editing line selection

I got two merged like lines in a plot, I need to select only one of them with the mouse which is covered by the other. Once I select one series, any short cut key to select the other. (Without using PLOTEDIT)

No, there isn't.
If you know that you will not be selecting from a particular line, set() the HitTest property of its line handle to be 'off'.
