convert this ploygon from 2d to 3d graph

hi

i have this graph

xv = [1,2,3,4.8,8,10,10,5];
yv = [0,4,7.5,7.9,9,4,0,0];
patch(xv,yv,'b');
ylim([-5, 15]);
xlim([0, 15]);

i want to convert this to 3d with z=2 for all point of x-y coordinate

What do you want it to look like? Like just a flat slab?

the graph still 2d !!
