the setting of the inner boundary with pdetool

hi~I've met the difficulties recently with the problems below: Two rectangles are drawn in pdetool, and they share the same edge which is labeled, for instance,1. Now I tried to set the inner boundary(edge 1) as usual(double clicked or setting in menu),but it didn't work. My question is,does it mean that the pdetool cannot solve the pdes in two different areas which are adjacent?if not,how to set the inner boundary by commands?if the boundary condition is like such format,as n*u1=c*(n*u2),where u1 is the solution in one of the rectangle and u2 is the solution in the other one,c is constant, n is the normal vector. It seems not to be the Neumann boundary or the Dirichlet boundary. How to set? Thank you~

I feel that the boundary condition is the generalized Neumann boundary condition, but how to set the inner boundary is still a problem.I guess,Is there something wrong with the drawing? What is the right way?
