I want show/publish someone else my simulink simulation without them buying Matlab?

I try converting simulink into exe file, but it won't show the block but calculate and get the result behind the background.
I also research on simunlink report generator, is more like a condition report , i like the client to change the value and test the stimulation so they can understand more.
I think Apllication Programing Inteface is good, because it can convert into exe file. However it won't link with simulink exe file unless simulink exe stop processing and produce the mat file and then API use the information to plot or display. If possible i would like to use a better method.

There are different approaches. It depends what exactly the goal is. Those "someone else" people: Shall they be able to do simulations on their own using your protectedf intellectual property, or is this about demonstrating that you have a certain skill set to enable business? Details here allow me to give options.

I would not assume that. Some academic institutes get site licenses, but some get standalone licenses or named user licenses with seat counts.

Yes and no :-) "Have MATLAB" is not equal "Have MATLAB installed and immedeately available". Then you are perfectly right. But I meant "Have MATLAB available in the organziation". This indeed could mean they need to contact central IT.
