I've been using Matlab 2012a with the imaq toolbox and the daq toolbox. From time to time Matlab crashes in a way that only a reboot works, i.e., trying to load matlab again just show for a very short moment the splash screen and nothing happens. The problem has become more severe lately than ever, and I'm struggling to understand what cause it and how to solve it. I'm using a win-7 64 bit OS, with a Xeon CPU, plenty of memory (64GB), there is a GPU on board that is also being used, there is a image acquisition matlab adaptor for the gige camera I'm using, and I control a device using serial port. Is it related to Java being corrupted? or maybe the camera adaptor? is there away to debug or at least know what's going on?
