plotting time series with data of different frequencies and varying time vector length

Hi all This question or similar might have been asked before and I apologize for repeating. I have two data sets. First set contains 72 points for 72 hours i.e. say, airspeeds each hour for a total of three days. The second data set contains airspeeds every 15 minutes for a total of 48 hours for the two out of three days. I want to plot both data sets on the same axis. I have been playing around with timeseries all day but have had no luck. The main issue is the adjustment of the x-axis. Can someone please be of guidance in this issue? Thanks and please also ask for any clarification in my question. Thanks.

Are you using the timeseries data type, or just vectors of data?
