Imaqtool does not detect PointGrey camera

I have installed the CMU 1394 camera driver. The camera is accessible by it. The camera also shows up in device manager. However, imaqtool does not find it at all.

The CMU driver was installed before installing MATLAB.

So what does Point Gray say? What other adapters show up in your hardware browser? Maybe it's there under winvideo.

The installed adaptors are matrox and winvideo. However, no device shows up in the hardware browser.

 imaqhwinfo('winvideo') gives
       AdaptorDllName: [1x81 char]
    AdaptorDllVersion: '4.2 (R2011b)'
          AdaptorName: 'winvideo'
            DeviceIDs: {1x0 cell}
           DeviceInfo: [1x0 struct]
which seems to suggest that the camera is not being detected?

According to the supported camera page, Point Grey is supported: http://www.mathworks.com/products/imaq/supported/point-grey.html Call the Mathworks, or Point Grey and ask them why there is no adapter showing up.
