I have N column vectors of same dimensions and I'm in need to accumulate these column vectors. In my paper this accumulation is defined as
acc=Vi where i=1:N
How to do this??

This probably needs some clarification, maybe because your sigma summation symbol does not show the range of the summation. Is this not simply the sum of N vectors? Why do you call this "accumulation" instead of just "summation"?

I've to accumulate the vector V over i. where i=1:N.The range of sigma is 1:N(some integer) I have N column vectors. Is it correct to use sum(v,2)??

If you have the Vi as columns of some matrix, V, just do
acc=sum(V,2);
