Is there anyway to acquire signals using my DAQ device onto Simulink using the session-based interface?

As part of my engineering project I would like to acquire signals using a NI USB-6211 DAQ device. I'm currently running a 64-bit installation of MATLAB, so I don't have access to the DAQ blocks on the legacy interface for Simulink.
I'm wondering if I can still somehow program a MATLAB Function block or find some other way to acquire my data in real-time? Thanks a lot in advance!
