i am a final year student, and my final year project based on implementing a longitudinal and a lateral controller of a small UAV using FPGA. for this reason i need to have a xilinx system generator toolbox in the matlab software inorder to generate the HDL code. so, i hope to get any help in order to get the toolbox to be installed in the Matlab/simulink????

Xilinx has many versions of their software; not all of them support all devices. (Older software versions may not support newer chips.) See the Xilinx documentation and website for more information.

Xilinx System Generator is a 3rd party tool produced by (not surprisingly) Xilinx. More information can be found at http://www.xilinx.com/tools/sysgen.htm .

It appears that you require Xilinx System Generator for DSP 12.1 or 11.4/11.5 or 11.3 or 11.2 . The link to download 12.1 appears to be available at http://www.xilinx.com/support/download/index.html/content/xilinx/en/downloadNav/design-tools/archive.html

I do not know if there are costs associated with this suite of products and I do not know if you would be able to obtain a license for such an old version; you could try.
