how to apply a 2-d discrete fractional fourier transfom formula to 4x4 subimage

I am working on a project of image compression using 2-d discrete fractional fourier transform in matlab,,,, i have taken an image size of 256x256 and that is divided into 4x4 subimage. for that i want to apply dfrft but didn't got direct syntax. so if possible help me....
