Saving variables in workspace to a .txt file along with variable names

6 views (last 30 days)
Hey guys, Basically i want to save around 10 variables present in workspace to a text file(.txt file) so that i can access it later. Typically the first line of the text file should contain the date, time of program run, etc. Second line should contain the variable names (say 10 names) all seperated by comma(,) or a tabspace. From third line onwards, the actual variables (values) according to the variable names should be present. All the variables will be vectors(say of length 1000). Pls help me out in getting this done.. Any help will be appreciated.
