I have a state space representation of a system. I am required to use a single integrator, gains, and summation blocks in order to represent the system. How would I go about doing this?
My initial guess was to have a feedback loop inside a feed forward loop. I have a step input. That signal goes to the D matrix (the first gain), which is on the feed forward path. It also goes to the B matrix (a second gain). The second signal then goes through an integrator, and then through the A matrix, which is on a unity feedback loop. Then, the signal is multiplied by another gain, to turn the gain into the C matrix. That signal is added to the feed forward path signal which is fed into the output.
