Hello,

I need to send values to a function. I would like to pass on the column with two other values from an edit text box. The length of the pop up menu has to correspond to the number of columns in the matrix I need to get the values from and 1->x corresponds to each column 1->x in the metrix. Thanks in advance

You have to update the 'String' property of the popup to contain whatever you want to be a string with whatever options you want to show in the pop up.

I believe you either do this with new lines or by creating a cell array of strings, with each string being an option in the popup.

Give it a whirl and let us know if that works for you

If you need to pass values to a function, just send in the variables via the input argument list. What does a popup have to do with passing values to a function? I do not understand the grammar of this sentence: *"The length of the pop up menu has to correspond to the number of columns in the matrix I need to get the values from and 1->x corresponds to each column 1->x in the metrix."* Please reword. What's in the matrix? What does the number of columns in the matrix have to do with the number of lines in the popup? What exactly does 1->x mean? What is x??? Can you give an example of what's in the matrix, what you want to appear in the popup, and what variables need to be sent to the function?
