Creating a light source similar to the Sun

Hi everyone

I am trying to create a light source similar to the Sun for a MATLAB model I am working on.

I need a light source placed at the origin [0 0 0] with light rays diverging from that point.

I also require that one object allows the light rays to pass through.

Is this possible?

I have been reading the help files on the light function but I cannot find a solution to this problem.
