Controlling the Clock - start button vs. start up

Hi - We are working on a model in which we have a clock that runs for 5 seconds. But we don't want the clock to start until we press a remote control button. How do we control the trigger for the clock to start? Or how do we stop the clock from starting when we don't want it to and assign a trigger to start it when we do?

Please explain how your problem is related to Matlab. What kind of remote control do you use? Are you working with Matlab or Simulink?
