SVM is a machine learning technique where you will need to train the positive and negative

try typing 'docsearch svm' in your command window

how may I train the classifier I mean from where should I get the labels for training purpose

Image Analyst on 24 Nov 2013

SVM splits a cluster into the two most widely separated clusters possible. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Support_vector_machine. So it will automatically give you a "class 1" and a "class 2".

What is represented by the two clusters? The gray levels? Can just a typical thresholding algorithm work?
