All files saved as "Project"

Asked by David on 14 Jun 2013

Hi all,

Recently, for no apparent reason, all of my files have started saving themselves to my root MATLAB directory as Project (no file type), rather than to the subfolder I've specified with the name I've given them. I can move them around and change the names afterward, and they work correctly thereafter, but it's a hassle setting up new functions.

I must have accidentally changed something, but I have no idea what. Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks a lot,

-Dave

Which Matlab release?

This sounds familiar; I think someone hit the same thing in spring of last year. I do not recall the solution, but I suspect it might involve deleting your preferences directory.
