How do I find the maximum peak from an interval?

Hello,

I'm having trouble detecting a single (maximum) peak within a desired interval. Please see the following image, it's an ECG and I want to detect the P peak (the highest peak in the mentioned interval.)

I know how to determine the interval, I just need the function to detect the maximum peak.

Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks
