image display: image coordinate to axes coordinate

Hi, I do not exactly know how to convert image coordinate to axis coordinate or vice versa.

I have 3D array (xSize, ySize, tSize); with first two being the spatial coordinates and third dimension is the time dependence. To look at my analysis, I display the image using first two dimensions (imagesc) and then try to get correct time dependence using mice click. But, it seems that I am getting axis coordinate and it seems that I am not getting axes2pix() work properly.

Any help would be appreciated.
