In curve fitting toolbox, what's the difference between simultaneous and nonsimultaneous confidence bounds for function (not for future observations)?confidence bounds. There was some discussion on this topic, but I need to know more for my project. Could someone explain it or send a link?

Take a look at

http://www.mathworks.com/help/curvefit/confidence-and-prediction-bounds.html

especially the table "Types of Prediction Bounds." Then if you don't understand, ask a follow-up question.
