how to change the input file format from webcam....

Just use imaqtool and you'll see your camera with all the modes that it can operate in. Select the mode you want and you'll see the MATLAB command to do that in the command window of imaqtool. That's the code you use. If you're already in a mode and want to switch you may have to shutdown the camera and restart it in the new mode (I'm not sure since I don't have imaqtool installed on this computer).
