what is the best way to scatter the coordinates of an rfid tag in real time figure?

I have written the code needed for the reader whenever it detects a tag to save the ID number in a variable 1*12.My question is what is the best way to scatter the coordinates of the tag? I have found problems using the if ID tag= 34 52 97 86 51 then scatter(2,3) else if...in real time because the tags are so many.I have thought of making an excel file where one column is the ID of the tag, the second is the x-axis, and a third is the y-axis.But i do not know how to execute the equalization part. is there a project like this or a trick orsomething that can help me? i'm new to matlab.
