Reading through Multiple Text Files to Sort Data

Hello, I have a fairly simple problem that I just cannot figure out right now.

I have 200+ files with 3 columns embedded in each, I would like to open the file and sort the three columns independently and then write the new sorted columns to either replace the current file or can write it to a new file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
