Hello all,
I have recently upgraded my version of matlab from 2012a to 2013b. 2012a had no issue running in its full desktop mode from my ubuntu server over x11 forwarded putty session on my windows workstation. After the upgrade, if I fire up matlab, everything works as expected at first, but if i move the cursor to any other window, then matlab can never receive keyboard input in the command window again until I close it out and reopen it. The mouse still works. I can copy and paste, I can open a new editor (if this also opens a new window, than I can use the cursor in the editor, and if I click out to another window, the keyboard is lost from this window as well, until I close out all of the open documents and reopen a fresh window.)
I have only seen this problem described on the Arch linux forums, with people using Arch linux as the client, and running ssh -Y to fix, problem is, I am on windows so thats not really a solution, and further more, this must be a server side issue, as the exact client setup used to work happily.
Anyone know whats going on or experienced anything like this?
Thanks for any help, Ian

Can I just say that we are also seeing this, since upgrading from 2013a to 2013b, this time X11 is being forwarded via MobaXterm, from a CentOS server back to a Windows client. Works perfectly with 2013a.
Any suggestions/solutions would be gratefully received ! Thanks, Sandra.
